Sunrise in America Mercedes Ulisse truck across America

 

EN: I drove in the North of France near Lille to visit Alessandro and Lucie. Two friends I met earlier this year in Nice. They told me they were building (especially Lucie, who is an architect) a tiny house on top of an ancien Mercedes 911 Fire Truck. Their plan is to travel from Halifax to Ushuaia in one year to one year and a half or so with their 2 daughters. FR: J'ai roulé vers le nord de la France, près de Lille, pour rendre visite à Alessandro et Lucie. Deux amis que j'ai rencontrés plus tôt cette année à Nice. Ils m'ont dit qu'ils construisaient (surtout Lucie, qui est architecte) une petite maison sur un ancien camion de pompiers Mercedes 911. Leur projet est de voyager de Halifax à Ushuaia en un an ou un an et demi environ avec leurs deux filles. EN: I went to Outdoor by ISPO this year. Last time was in 2019 so first time after the pandemic. I saw wechsel started to make sleeping bags, a few new dehydrated food like TRAIL from Denmark. A swiss company making coffee in tube for the outdoors and had the privilege to speak with Roland Tyson, the founder of SeatoSummit.
